The Solaire Theatre for the Performing Arts located in Manila, The Philippines is a 1,760 seat state of the art facility designed as a traditional Lyric style theatre. The facility’s technical systems includes audio, acoustics, theatrical lighting, stage systems, rigging, and back of house support facilities.. The sound system includes Meyer Sound’s Constellation electronic acoustical enhancement system allowing the theatre’s engineers to set the acoustical environment for the particular event. The theatrical lighting system includes 576 dimmer modules by Electronic Theatre Controls and a large scale lighting console with 8,000 inputs. The rigging system is a traditional counterweight system custom fabricated in Manila. The system has 89 line sets. Back of House facilities include ample dressing rooms, green room, and shops for scenic, costume, lighting, and sound.
